The spiritual ambiance and the warmth of its people transport you far from the burdens and noise of everyday life.<\/p><p>I was honored to meet Dr. Ahmad Abdul Aziz Al-Amin, the son of the city\u2019s governor, Dr. Lo, the Deputy Governor of Tivaouane, and Professor Bakary Samba. Through these esteemed figures, I learned about the city\u2019s rich religious heritage and its significant role in promoting political stability in Senegal since independence.
