Et le professionnalisme ou la comp\u00e9tence du chercheur ou de l\u2019\u00e9crivain sont-ils le fruit de son exp\u00e9rience personnelle \u2014 qu\u2019elle ait \u00e9t\u00e9 rude ou confortable \u2014 ou bien le r\u00e9sultat de sa course vers un poste de pouvoir qui lui aurait permis d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 des secrets inaccessibles au grand public ? \u00bb<\/p><p>Et \u00e0 chaque fois, ma r\u00e9ponse reste inchang\u00e9e : \u00ab Ceux qui courent derri\u00e8re les postes et les titres, cher monsieur, ne sont jamais respect\u00e9s par les dirigeants, quel que soit le syst\u00e8me politique. Ils sont utilis\u00e9s pour servir un objectif pr\u00e9cis, puis \u00e9cart\u00e9s une fois leur r\u00f4le accompli, r\u00e9duits \u00e0 leur taille d\u2019origine, rien de plus. L\u2019un des plus grands bienfaits que Dieu a accord\u00e9 aux chercheurs professionnels, c\u2019est d\u2019avoir retir\u00e9 de leurs c\u0153urs l\u2019amour du pouvoir, la soif des postes, ou m\u00eame le d\u00e9sir de s\u2019en approcher. Ce privil\u00e8ge est reconnu et appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 par les chercheurs, quelles que soient leurs id\u00e9es, leurs appartenances ou leurs orientations. \u00bb<\/p><p>Mon ambition premi\u00e8re et ultime est de rester chercheuse dans mon domaine : \u00e9crire en toute libert\u00e9, d\u00e9battre avec intelligence, diverger avec bienveillance, et converger avec conviction \u2014 sans menace, sans intimidation, sans accusation de trahison ni remise en question de notre int\u00e9grit\u00e9. C\u2019est, selon moi, ce qui contribue v\u00e9ritablement au d\u00e9veloppement de la recherche, renforce la cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 et la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 scientifiques, et permet \u00e0 la recherche de jouer pleinement son r\u00f4le, dans un espace o\u00f9 la pens\u00e9e, m\u00eame divergente, est respect\u00e9e, o\u00f9 les contributions, m\u00eame modestes, sont valoris\u00e9es, et o\u00f9 les opportunit\u00e9s s\u2019ouvrent pour un v\u00e9ritable progr\u00e8s scientifique au service de la patrie, et d\u2019elle seule<strong>.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>\u2014 Dr. Amina
