Apr\u00e8s la propagation de l&rsquo;islam, les relations entre les deux r\u00e9gions se sont approfondies et sont devenues marquantes dans l\u2019histoire, en commen\u00e7ant par la migration des compagnons du Proph\u00e8te Muhammad (que la paix soit sur lui) vers l\u2019Abyssinie. Par la suite, plusieurs sultanats africains ont \u00e9&#8230;<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Aujourd\u2019hui, la composante populaire africaine estime que le public du Golfe ne s\u2019est pas r\u00e9ellement int\u00e9ress\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Afrique moderne, malgr\u00e9 la profondeur historique des relations entre les deux parties. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019apr\u00e8s 2015, en raison de l\u2019\u00e9mergence de certaines questions s\u00e9curitaires influant n\u00e9gativement sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 nationale des pays du Golfe, que cet int\u00e9r\u00eat a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 appara\u00eetre. Bien que les relations soient anciennes et bien ancr\u00e9es dans la conscience africaine, plusieurs obstacles conti&#8230;<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Les \u00e9lites africaines insistent sur trois v\u00e9rit\u00e9s fondamentales qu&rsquo;elles cherchent \u00e0 faire reconna\u00eetre au monde :<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>1. Le pourcentage de musulmans en Afrique est souvent manipul\u00e9, et le terrorisme est un comportement \u00e9tranger aux soci\u00e9t\u00e9s africaines naturellement pacifiques. Le terrorisme s\u2019est introduit en Afrique lorsque des forces ext\u00e9rieures ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 dicter le cours du pouvoir et de la gouvernance. Les po\u00e8mes du po\u00e8te carib\u00e9en Kamau Brathwaite montrent bien comment la modernit\u00e9 et la culture ont \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9es de l\u2019Afrique vers l\u2019Europe, et non l\u2019inverse.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>2. L&rsquo;islam fut le seul v\u00e9ritable obstacle auquel le colonisateur europ\u00e9en a \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9 dans sa tentative de d\u00e9raciner l\u2019Africain de ses valeurs et principes. Il est remarquable de constater que cet obstacle persiste encore aujourd\u2019hui, et plus admirable encore, qu\u2019il n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 surmont\u00e9.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>3. Les \u00e9lites du Golfe ne r\u00e9alisent pas que la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des \u00e9lites africaines a chang\u00e9 depuis 2020, surtout celles qui ne sont pas influenc\u00e9es par l\u2019argent politique. Ces \u00e9lites, tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes de l\u2019image v\u00e9hicul\u00e9e dans les m\u00e9dias europ\u00e9ens, r\u00e9sistent farouchement \u00e0 la corruption et au client\u00e9lisme. Leur \u00e9loignement des cercles d\u00e9cisionnels ne les inqui\u00e8te gu\u00e8re, sachant que de nombreuses politiques sont encore impos\u00e9es de l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur. Par cons\u00e9quent, elles consid\u00e8rent que le travail au sein des organisat&#8230;<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>D\u2019apr\u00e8s mon exp\u00e9rience de terrain dans les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s africaines, malgr\u00e9 la diversit\u00e9 culturelle, religieuse et ethnique, les \u00e9lites africaines proches des cercles d\u00e9cisionnels consid\u00e8rent que les int\u00e9r\u00eats du Golfe en Afrique sont temporaires et ne reposent pas sur une vision strat\u00e9gique \u00e0 long terme.
